About the Author
Lela Bryan, founder and Chief Learning Officer of Nicotine Solutions, quit smoking happily and permanently on June 4, 1978. She has been successfully teaching others how to quit smoking and chewing ever since! Originally a high school teacher, Lela found her true calling when after 16 years of smoking she finally discovered a way to quit that actually worked. Determined to spread the word, Lela decided to leave the school system and use her teaching skills to help people quit smoking instead. Since then, she has taught smoking cessation throughout the US, Canada, France, The UK, Bulgaria, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. She has continued to hone and refine her program over the years to make it as effective and cutting edge as possible. Originally all of Lela's classes took place in person. But with the advent of the internet she saw a way to help even more people stop smoking, regain their health and realize their dreams. Today she uses a combination of telephone conferencing, email, video, and audio technologies to deliver impressive results. Thanks to her innovative approaches, Lela's students consistently experience the highest success rates of any system in the world--90% of her students stop smoking by the end of the program. With the Nicotine Solutions program, Lela can help anyone, anywhere quit smoking or chewing (or any other nicotine addiction) easily and permanently. All you need is a telephone and an internet connection and you can learn to stop smoking or chewing anywhere in the world without using harmful drugs or gaining weight. In 2008 Lela entered a contest to write unique content for the internet. She wrote a Hubpage, which is like a blog or online magazine article. She didn't win the contest but her Hubpage has been very popular with over 600 comments and over 150,000 views. The article covered the side effects of quitting smoking, how long a symptom would last, why it was happening and what were some inexpensive treatments that people could implement. Lela realized from the comments, that she was one of the only people in the world explaining the side effects of quitting smoking and what could be done about them without taking drugs or going to the doctor or the emergency room.
