The Girl Who Saved Ghosts

I swore ghosts would never take over my life again-until one begged me for help.

I'm Kat Preston and I thought surviving a haunted castle would be the end of my problems. But ghosts, magic, and a centuries-old curse are just the beginning of a much darker legacy.

When a ghostly plea for help pulls me into a mystery spanning centuries, I uncover a hidden war between light and dark magic-and my family's dangerous role at its center.

An ancient evil, the Dark One, terrifies the ghosts and demands my death. It will destroy anyone who gets in its way. Desperate for help, I head to the ancestral home I only just found. My rival turned ally Evan-whose arcane connection to my family stretches back centuries-joins me.

My eccentric great aunts teach me about the side of my family I never knew, including my magical heritage. I'm destined to find the lost amulet that belongs to Evan's family. How? By traveling back in time and retrieving it. The amulet is critical to our looming battle with the Dark One.

Each time Evan and I travel back in time, we don't just risk our lives. We risk our ancestors' lives and we risk the light magic losing to the dark. As we make our way through nineteenth-century Vienna, the Dark One stalks us, and I must decide what I'm willing to sacrifice to save a ghost.

If you enjoy gothic mysteries brimming with the paranormal, love and betrayal that binds families across the centuries, & an unforgettable journey through time, join Kat on her next exciting adventure!

This is a tightly interconnected series that should be read in order for maximum enjoyment.
